According to information received from Padre Rubio, an historian and intellectual, member of the order of the Padres Dominicus, and Don Moncito Baez, the House was built in 3 different stages.
First Stage - 1519 Entrance and principal room with staircase leading to the second floor. The presence of a Muedjar Arch in the house, which now is adjacent to the house once property of President Vicini Burgos – used to stand in a vast garden. It is interesting to notice the corners in the principal living room. Made in rectangular blocs of coral stone they hold firmly the stone walls made of 'manposteria' or variety of building rocks. One can still see the holes left by the original scaffoldings.
Second Stage- a few years later were erected the two ground floor smaller Rooms and the second floor smaller bedroom and study.
Third Stage- 1600 Saw the building of the dining –room and kitchen on the first floor and the Master Bedroom and Bathroom on the second floor.
Thick stone walls measuring circa 21 inches.
Many are still original, others were been substituted. They was maintained applying thick coat of 'Burnt car machine oil' and a pesticide or ' Aceite Cremao' and 'Carbosota'.
DOORS and WINDOWS in either age old mahogany or wrought iron.
